This brief challenged me to completely redesign a famous book distributed by Penguin Books.

Our work will be sent off to the Penguin Student Design Competition 2017, and our designs could be chosen to be the new cover for our chosen book and sold on shelves in bookstores nation wide.

This was my concept for the novel Naughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman, for the Penguin Student Design Brief back in 2017 (above). However, I never had the chance to complete this brief, and I came across it in 2018 and challenged myself to re-create it to see my growth within a year. And below is the final concept.
